Abstract: An application roller for applying liquid or semi-liquid substances on surfaces comprises a frame having a shaft including a handle thereon for grasping by a user and a cross axle oriented at a right angle to the shaft. A cylinder having first and second ends rotatably mounted on the cross axle defines an outer surface having a first portion of an attachment system thereon. A cover wrap dimensioned to circumferentially encompass the cylinder has a liquid absorbent outer surface and an inner surface including a second portion of the attachment system. The first and second portions of the attachment system cooperate to permit selective removal and reattachment of the cover wrap on the cylinder.

Abstract: A roller applicator for paint and other applications which comprises a shaft, a circular cylinder, end caps for the cylinder forming hubs that rotate on the shaft and a handle connected to the shaft, characterized in that the cylinder carries a material that presents a surface having a multiplicity of tiny hooks and a fabric is provided which presents a fibrous surface on an inner side and is dimensioned to fit on the cylinder when wrapped around it. The fabric can be removed after use and discarded and anew fabric added for further use of the roller applicator.
