The test unit comprises a stem having a first end and a second end, the stem defining at least one flow channel extending between the first end and the second end. A swab is disposed at the first end of the stem, the swab being configured to collect a test sample derived from a biological source that is suspected of containing an analyte. The test unit also comprises a fluid chamber configured to contain a fluid, wherein the fluid chamber is in fluid communication with the swab via the flow channel. The test unit also comprises a rupturable seal that inhibits leakage of the fluid from the fluid chamber prior to use, and an assay for detecting the presence or absence of the analyte. The assay is in fluid communication with the swab, the flow channel, and the fluid chamber.

    摘要： The present invention provides a package for holding and dispensing absorbent personal care articles. The package has a plurality absorbent personal care articles and a plurality packaging components. Each of the packaging components has a compartment, a fixed end and a free end. Each fixed end is connected directly or indirectly to at least one other fixed end of another packaging component and each free end of a given packaging component is opposed to the fixed end. The compartment of each packaging component has at least one absorbent personal care article placed within the compartment. The package of the present invention may optionally have a cover to further protect the packaging components and absorbent articles contained therein. Other features provided in the package of the present invention include a fastening means which allow the package to remain in a closed position. The fastening means also provides a way to hang the package on a door or a wall, as well as to secure the package within a cabinet drawer.

    摘要： The present invention provides a discrete package for absorbent personal care articles. Provided by the present invention is a personal care product having a container component and an absorbent personal care product component. The container component has a top panel, a bottom panel, at least one side. Generally there are four side walls, a front side wall, a back side wall, a first side wall and a second side wall. These walls are connected in a manner such that the top panel is connected to the bottom panel by the front side wall, the back side wall, the first side wall and the second side wall; and the front side wall is connected to the back side wall by the first side wall and the second side wall. Each wall of the container has an inside surface and an exterior surface. The inside surface of each of the bottom panel, the front side wall, the back side wall, the first side wall and the second side wall define a chamber for holding at least one absorbent personal care article. The chamber is able to hold at least one absorbent personal care article component placed within said chamber of the container component. In addition, the container component is devoid of any indicia on exterior surface of each of the top panel, the front side wall, the first side wall and the second side wall which tends to indicate that the container has at least one personal care product placed within said chamber. With these walls being devoid of any indicia indicating the contents of the container, the container of the present invention, with its contents of absorbent personal care articles can be left in the open without clearly indicating the contents of the container.

The dispenser includes first and second members pivotally connected together by a first hinge to form a first entrance into the dispenser. The first and second members are capable of housing a plurality of wet or dry, sheet-like articles. The first entrance provides reach-in access wherein multiple sheet-like articles can be withdrawn at one time. The second member also has a second entrance formed therein from which the sheet-like articles can be individually withdrawn. The dispenser further includes a third member secured to the second member at a first location and has a second hinge spaced apart from the first location. The first and second hinges are situated on opposite sides of the dispenser. The third member is capable of pivoting on the second hinge to cover the second entrance.

The entrance has a surface area of from between about 15 cm2 to about 95 cm2. The folded wet wipes having a normalized separation force between two adjacent sheets of less than about 65 g/cm. The entrance also has a dimension measured along the transverse axis that when divided by the width of one of the folded wet wipes is at least about 0.7.
