    摘要： A portable device having a first enclosure and a second enclosure, comprises: a linking device which slidably links the first enclosure and second enclosure in a slidable manner, the linking device permitting a first action of shifting the first enclosure between a first position and a second position in a plane, and a second action of shifting the first enclosure at least in a direction different from a direction of the first action in the plane using at least one of the first position and second position as a reference position; and a command input device which inputs a command to the portable device on the basis of at least the second action of the first enclosure, thereby enabling to operate the portable device according to the action of the first enclosure.

    摘要： An aspect of the present invention provides a portable device having a first enclosure and a second enclosure, comprising: a joint device which slidably joints the first enclosure and the second enclosure, and which enables a first operation of slidably moving the first enclosure between a first position and a second position in a same plane and enables a second operation of rotatably moving the first enclosure around a predetermined axis in the same plane based on a reference position of at least one of the first position and the second position; and an instruction input device which inputs an instruction to the portable device based on at least the second operation of the first enclosure.

    摘要： A digital camera has a display screen that improves an external design of the digital camera. The display screen is disposed on a front surface of the digital camera, which surface faces a subject when an image-taking optical system is directed to the subject. The display screen is capable of displaying an image such as a design image or a clock image. The digital camera is also capable of automatically displaying a through image when detecting a subject distance being shorter than a predetermined distance, i.e. a self-portrait is going to be taken. The digital camera is also capable of displaying an image based on personal image data so that a user can enjoy its external design.
