摘要: An image recording apparatus includes: a first housing comprising a recording portion and a first control device; a second housing comprising a second control device and supported by the first housing to be rotationally movable between a close position and a distant position by rotationally moving about a first axis extending in a first direction; a first cable and a second cable electrically connecting the first control device to the second control device; and a holder having a supported portion and holding the first cable and the second cable. In the first housing, at least a part of the holder extends in a second direction and the holder holds the first cable and the second cable such that the first cable and the second cable extend in the second direction and are respectively disposed at positions different from each other in the first direction and in a third direction.

摘要: A liquid discharge device is provided with a head, a cover member, a negative pressure source, a seal member, and a controller. The head has a nozzle plane in which a nozzle is formed. The cover member has a fluid passage and is capable of covering the nozzle plane such that one end of the fluid passage is in communication with the nozzle. The negative pressure source is connected to the fluid passage. The seal member has a non-nozzle plane in which the nozzle is not formed. The non-nozzle plane is capable of sealing the one end of the fluid passage. The controller drives the negative pressure source in a first state in which the cover member is covering the nozzle plane. The controller drives the negative pressure source in a second state in which the non-nozzle plane is sealing the one end of the fluid passage.

摘要: A cap member for covering a plurality of nozzle arrays disposed in a nozzle plate of a liquid ejecting head includes a first lip, at least one second lip, and a main body. The first lip has an annular shape and is configured to abut against the nozzle plate to enclose the plurality of nozzle arrays. At least one second lip has an annular shape, is disposed within the annular first lip, and is configured to abut against the nozzle plate to enclose at least one of the plurality of nozzle arrays separately from the first lip. The first lip and the at least one second lip are disposed on the main body. The main body is configured to cooperate with the first lip and the at least one second lip to make sealing contact with the nozzle plate.

摘要: In a working apparatus, a recessed portion is formed at an end surface of a pin provided at a boom to house a case of an angle sensor in the recessed portion. A flange is projected from the case along the direction of the axis of an input shaft so as to enclose the input shaft outside the movement range of a lever. By projecting the flange further out than the distance over which the input axis projects out, the protection provided by the flange for the input shaft is enhanced.

摘要: There is disclosed an image recording apparatus including: a housing; a medium supply cassette open upward which accommodates a stack of recording media each in the form of a sheet, and is inserted into and removed from the housing substantially horizontally in a cassette movement direction, the cassette including: a substantially horizontal bottom plate; and a slant separator plate extending obliquely upward from an edge of the bottom plate; a medium pickup device including a medium pickup roller which gives a feeding force in a first direction to a topmost one of the stack, and cooperates with the separator plate to separate the topmost recording medium from the rest of the recording media to feed in the separated recording medium; a U-shaped guide changing a feeding direction of the recording medium as fed in by the pickup device, from the first direction to a second direction opposite to the first direction; an image recording portion recording an image on the recording medium having been passed through the guide; and a restricting member contacting at least a part of the stack which ascends upward along the separator plate by continuing to move, by inertia, in a cassette insertion direction in which the cassette is inserted, in order to restrict the continuing movement of the at least a part of the stack.

摘要: An ink-jet printing device is presented including (1) an ink-jet printing head for printing an image by discharging ink droplets from a number of nozzles onto a recording medium and (2) a purging unit for sucking ink from the nozzles. The purging unit includes a cap, a suction pump, and a supporting member. The cap has a flat, plate shaped base, and a cylindrical lip that extends upright from the base. When the lip of the cap is in abutment with the ink-jet printing head, the suction pump lowers the pressure in a space defined between the ink-jet printing head and the cap. The supporting member is disposed in the cap and is capable of supporting the lip from the inside of the cap. When a distal end portion of the lip abuts the ink-jet printing head, the lip hermetically encloses the nozzles. At least a portion of the base corresponding to the inner side of the lip is flexible enough to be deformed so as to project inwardly of the lip when the pressure in the space is lowered. The supporting member includes an abutment portion, the abutment portion abutting the inner side of the distal end portion of the lip when the base deforms.
