    摘要: An image formation device stores therein print data targeted for secure printing received through a network. When a user is authenticated by a user authentication part, the image formation device reads the print data targeted for secure printing to execute a print job. The image formation device includes a job management part for managing the stored print data targeted for secure printing. When a print job is not executed at a point in time after the elapse of a predetermined period of time after the receipt of the print data targeted for secure printing, the job management part encrypts the print data using a certain encryption key, and transmits the encrypted print data to an intended device connected to the network. Namely, when a printout of the print data targeted for secure printing received through the network is not obtained at a point in time after the elapse of a predetermined period of time, the print data is transmitted to another device connected to the network with the security of the print data maintained. As a result, a printout of the print data is obtained by another image formation device.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an image formation device, a display screen switching method, and a program. Excellent operability with user friendliness is realized by appropriately controlling switching of a display screen without increasing a burden on an operating system. In order to accomplish this, an image formation device 1 for example includes: a panel manager 33 for controlling switching of a display screen to be displayed on a display unit 5; a system controller 32 for controlling a hardware section; and an application section 39 for executing a specific function by putting the hardware section into operation through the system controller 32, and for creating a display screen relating to the specific function. When the system controller 32 detects the occurrence of an event with the display screen created in the application section 39 being displayed on the display unit 5, the panel manager 33 requests the application section 39 to determine whether or not switching of a display screen should be made, and controls switching of a display screen to be displayed on the display unit 5 based on a result of the determination made by the application section 39.

    摘要: A method for managing a resource is provided. A personal card recording, thereon, a user identification code for identifying a user is issued to the user. A registration card recording, thereon, a registration code is prepared. The user identification code is stored in a temporary user storage portion when the user identification code and the registration code are read out, for user registration, from the personal card and the registration card respectively during a predetermined period. If the user identification code is read out from the personal card in order for the user to use the resource and the user identification code is stored in the temporary user storage portion, then the user is allowed to access the resource. If such user identification code is not stored in the temporary user storage portion, then the user is forbidden to access the resource.
