    摘要: Improvements are provided in and relating to an electrostatic copying apparatus including a housing, a support for supporting an original to be copied, the support being mounted on the housing and having a transparent plate for supporting the original thereon and a holding member for covering the original on the transparent plate, a system for forming a copied image disposed within the housing and having an optical system for projecting the image of the original on the transparent plate, and a system for transferring a copying paper synchronously with the scanning of the original which is effected by the relative movement of the original holder and the optical system. The improvements include an improvement in the control of the cutting of the copying paper where the copying paper-transferring system includes a system for supplying a roll of copying paper; an improvement in a device for starting the supply of copying paper synchronously with the scanning of the image of the original; an improvement in a device for supplying the roll of copying paper in the copying paper-transferring system; and an improvement in a device for supplying a copying paper in sheet form in the copying paper-transferring system.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photosensitive material suitable for offset printing and lithography comprising a flexible substrate, an electroconductive back coat layer formed on one surface of the substrate, an electroconductive intermediate layer formed on the other surface of the substrate and a photoconductive layer formed on the intermediate layer, said photoconductive layer being composed of a fine powder of a photoconductor dispersed in an electrically insulating resin, wherein said intermediate layer is composed of a composition comprising (A) an acrylic resin, (B) a vinyl acetate polymer having a degree of polymerization of 100 to 1700 and (C) a resinous conducting agent, in said composition the weight ratio of acrylic resin (A)/vinyl acetate polymer (B) is in the range of 4/1 to 10/1 and the amount of the conducting agent (C) is 20 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B), said intermediate layer has such a multi-layer distribution structure that a combination of the vinyl acetate polymer and the acrylic resin is predominantly distributed in the surface portion falling in contact with the photoconductive layer, and the photoconductive layer is bonded to the intermediate layer through said surface portion.

    摘要: An electrostatic copying apparatus of the type in which a rotary drum having a photosensative member on its surface is rotatably and detachably disposed at a predetermined location within a housing. The apparatus has a pair of inner side plates spaced apart from each other in the direction of the central axial line of rotation of said rotary drum, a guide and support member mounted at a predetermined location on the inside surface of each of said said plates, and formed in each said guide and support member, a bearing hole having a recess opened in a direction substantially perpendicular to said central axial line of rotation and at least one guide surface extending from said recess of said bearing hole in a direction substantially perpendicular to said central axial line of rotation. When a selected site of each of both side portions of said rotary drum is moved along each said guide surface, each of said side portions of said rotary drum is positioned within each said bearing hole through each said recess and thus, said rotary drum is mounted rotatably and detachably in the direction substantially perpendicular to said central axial line of rotation.

    摘要: An electrostatic copying apparatus of the type in which an original to be copied is scanned and exposed to light by moving one of an original-support having a transparent plate for placing the original thereon and an optical system relative to the other, and paper feed rollers are rotated in regard to the movement of one of the original-supports and the optical system thereby supplying a copying paper, and a drive mechanism for reciprocating one of the original-supports and the optical system has a driven wheel and an idle wheel rotatably disposed in a spaced-apart relation to each other and a winding power transmission system wound about these wheels and drivingly connected to one of the original-supports and the optical system; wherein a synchronizing wheel is rotatably disposed adjacent to, and coaxially with, one of the driven wheel and the idle wheel of the drive mechanism, an engaging protrusion is fixed to the winding power transmission system, a plurality of engaging portions capable of cooperating with the engaging protrusion are formed on the peripheral edge portion of the synchronizing wheel, and the paper feed rollers are fixed to a support shaft mounted rotatably and drivingly connected to the synchronizing wheel whereby when the drive mechanism is operated to move the winding power transmission system, the engaging protrusion engages with one of the plurality of engaging portions to rotate the synchronizing wheel and thus rotating the paper feed rollers.

The cassette has a casing for a stack of sheet-like copying papers of at least two different sizes, said casing being a box-like housing having an open top, a closure plate mounted detachably on the top surface of the housing and having at least one display window, and at least two restricting members mounted in spaced-apart relation in the longitudinal direction of the cassette casing so that they can pivot about the axial line of the cassette casing extending in the transverse direction of the cassette casing, each of the restricting members having a restricting portion for restricting the rear end of copying papers to be accommodated in the housing and a display portion having an indication of the size of copying papers, the display portion being positioned adjacent to the display window when the restricting portion is brought to its operative position beneath the closure plate.
