摘要: Disclosed is a catalyst comprising a zeolite comprising a framework, the framework comprising silicon and aluminum, and a noble metal. The zeolite has undergone at least a first exchange with a Group I or II cation or ammonium and thereafter is contacted with a second Group I or II cation. The step of contacting comprises an exchange, incipient wetness, or dry impregnation. The noble metal is deposited at the zeolite.

摘要: Catalysts for the hydrogenation of aromatic containing polymers are described. Such a catalyst can include, based on the total weight of the catalyst, 99.1 wt. % to 99.95 wt. % of a metal oxide support, and 0.05 wt. % to 0.9 wt. % of catalytic metal nanoparticles comprising platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), ruthenium (Ru), any combination thereof, or alloy thereof. The catalyst can have a specific surface area of 5 m2/g to 80 m2/g, a pore volume of 0.01 cm3/g to 0.35 cm3/g, and a catalyst median particle size of less than 300 microns. Processes to produce the catalyst and methods of hydrogenating aromatic containing polymers are also described.

摘要: Provided are systems and methods for obtaining ethylene and propylene products from, for example, shale gas and shale gas condensate feedstocks. These systems and method operate by utilizing a hydrocracker train to crack C4 and C5 hydrocarbons to a product stream of propane and ethane or using a hydrogenolysis train to process C4 and C5 hydrocarbons to a product stream of propane and ethane that is provided to a cracker for an efficient conversion to ethylene and propylene. The disclosed systems are configured to reduce the amount of offsite hydrogen needed and also provide product streams that include a well-defined set of products as compared to existing approaches.
