摘要: A process for producing a monoalkylated benzene comprises the step of contacting benzene with a mixture comprising dialkylated and trialkylated benzenes in the presence of a transalkylation catalyst composition under transalkylation conditions effective to convert at least part of the dialkylated and trialkylated benzene to monoalkylated benzene, wherein the transalkylation catalyst, composition comprises zeolite beta having an external surface in excess of 350 m2/g as determined by the t-plot method for nitrogen physisorption.

摘要: A process is described for producing paraxylene, in which an aromatic hydrocarbon feedstock comprising benzene and/or toluene is contacted with an alkylating reagent comprising methanol and/or dimethyl ether in an alkylation reaction zone under alkylation conditions in the presence of an alkylation catalyst to produce an alkylated aromatic product comprising xylenes. The alkylation catalyst comprises a molecular sieve having a Constraint Index≤5, and the alkylation conditions comprise a temperature less than 500° C. Paraxylene may then be recovered from the alkylated aromatic product.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a process for preparing linear alkyl benzne (LAB). The process comprises alkylation of benzene with an alkylating agent in the presence of an ionic liquid to obtain a first product mixture comprising a first organic phase and a first aqueous phase comprising first partially spent ionic liquid. The first organic phase is deacidified and fractionally distilled to obtain a fraction comprising LAB and a fraction comprising HAB. The fraction comprising HAB is transalkylated with benzene in the presence of the ionic liquid to obtain a second product mixture comprising a second organic phase comprising LAB and a second aqueous phase comprising second partially spent ionic liquid. The partially spent ionic liquids are regenerated, and reused in the steps of alkylation or transalkylation for at least 6 cycles.

The processes and apparatuses use a riser reactor operated at a superficial velocity of 10 m/s to 25 m/s to produce the alkylated aromatic product. In some embodiments, a combination of steam and aromatic hydrocarbon is used to lift the catalyst.
