    Abstract: A method for producing a composite pane, includes arranging a functional element in a recess of a thermoplastic frame film, arranging the thermoplastic frame film along with the functional element between a first glass pane and a second glass pane to form a layer stack, and subsequent joining of the layer stack by lamination to form a composite pane. The thermoplastic frame film and the functional element have a different thickness and the different thickness is at least partially compensated by at least one thermoplastic compensating film, whose thickness is less than twice as large as the difference between the thicknesses of the thermoplastic frame film and the functional element such that the maximum offset in the layer stack is less than the difference between the thicknesses of the thermoplastic frame film and the functional element.

    Abstract: A method for producing a composite pane suitable as a projection surface of a projection assembly, wherein (a) a polarisation-selective coating is provided on a carrier film; (b) the polarisation-selective coating is transferred from the carrier film onto a laminating film, by (i) arranging the carrier film and the laminating film areally one atop the other with the coating positioned therebetween to form a film stack, (ii) treating the film stack for at least 2 hours at a pressure of at least 8 bar and a temperature of 80° C. to 120° C. in an autoclave, and (iii) peeling the carrier film off the laminating film, with the coating remaining on the laminating film; (c) the laminating film is arranged areally between a first pane and a second pane; and (d) the first pane is laminated with the second pane via the laminating film to form the composite pane.

    Abstract: A method for producing a curved composite glass panel with an embedded curved coherent display, the composite glass panel having first and second curved glass layers, wherein the display has a display layer and an electronics layer. The display layer has a first layer thickness and the electronics layer has a second layer thickness. A first intermediate film is arranged between the electronics layer and the second glass layer. A second intermediate film is arranged adjacent the electronics layer and the first intermediate film. A third intermediate film is arranged adjacent the display layer.     Abstract: A composite pane with an electrically switchable functional element, includes first and second panes, a thermoplastic intermediate layer joining the first pane to the second pane and including a first laminating film with a thickness of at least 0.3 mm and a second laminating film with a thickness of at most 70 μm. The first laminating film is inserted substantially areally between the first and second panes. The second laminating film is inserted exclusively in the region of the at least one functional element and protrudes with an overhang x of at least 1 mm and at most 10 mm beyond the outer edges of the functional element. The direct layer sequence in the region of an electrically switchable functional element consists of the first pane, the second laminating film, the electrically switchable functional element, optionally, a further second laminating film, the first laminating film, and the second pane.
