Abstract: A composite pane having a multiple-ply composite layer arranged between outer and inner panes is presented. The composite layer is a laminate that includes a first thermoplastic film, a polyester film, and a second thermoplastic film. Thicknesses a, b, and c of the first thermoplastic film, the polyester film and the second thermoplastic film, are bound by the expressions: a/b=1/5 to 5/1, and c/(a+b)=25/1 to 2/1. The first thermoplastic film and the polyester film have a common edge that runs at a distance A from the edge of the second thermoplastic film, and the material of the second thermoplastic film fills the space between the common edge, the inner face of the outer pane, and the edge of the second thermoplastic film situated at the distance A from the common edge. Methods for use and production of the composite pane are also presented.

Abstract: A laminated pane having an outer pane and an inner pane, which are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The laminated pane has an opaque masking region and a transparent see-through region. The intermediate layer has a functional film with at least one layer based on polyethylene terephthalate arranged at least partially in the masking region, an outer thermoplastic layer through which the functional film is connected to the outer pane, and a transparent inner thermoplastic layer through which the functional film is connected to the inner pane. The outer thermoplastic layer has at least one first outer connecting layer composed of at least one transparent connecting film and at least one opaque connecting film. Abstract: A method for producing a composite pane includes arranging a first, second and third thermoplastic intermediate layers in full surface contact one above the other, the first, second and third thermoplastic intermediate layers; joining the first, second and third thermoplastic intermediate layers to form a preliminary composite; removing the third thermoplastic intermediate layer from certain regions to form an aperture; forming a layered stack by inserting a functional element into the aperture in the third thermoplastic intermediate layer; arranging the layered stack between a first and second pane; and the joining the first and second panes by lamination via the layered stack. The functional element has a thickness of ≥50 μm. The third thermoplastic intermediate layer has a thickness that substantially corresponds to the thickness of the functional element. The outer dimensions of the aperture substantially correspond to the outer dimensions of the functional element.

Abstract: A method for producing a composite pane is presented. A first laminating film is placed on an electrically conductive coating of a carrier film, and the carrier film and the first laminating film are then joined to form a bilayer. The bilayer is arranged on an outer pane such that the first laminating film lies areally on the outer pane, and a second laminating film is arranged on the bilayer such that the second laminating film lies areally on the carrier film. An inner pane is placed on the second laminating film, and a composite pane is formed by autoaclaving a layered stack formed by the panes, films and coatings.

Abstract: A method for producing a composite pane suitable as a projection surface of a projection assembly, wherein (a) a polarisation-selective coating is provided on a carrier film; (b) the polarisation-selective coating is transferred from the carrier film onto a laminating film, by (i) arranging the carrier film and the laminating film areally one atop the other with the coating positioned therebetween to form a film stack, (ii) treating the film stack for at least 2 hours at a pressure of at least 8 bar and a temperature of 80° C. to 120° C. in an autoclave, and (iii) peeling the carrier film off the laminating film, with the coating remaining on the laminating film; (c) the laminating film is arranged areally between a first pane and a second pane; and (d) the first pane is laminated with the second pane via the laminating film to form the composite pane.
