Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel configured to display an image; a window disposed on the display panel and including a transmission area transmitting the image and a non-transmission area adjacent to the transmission area; and a case member configured to receive the display panel and coupled to the window. The window includes a substantially flat base member and a protective member disposed on the base member. The protective member includes a first portion overlapping the non-transmission area and having a first upper surface. The first upper surface is curved. The protective member also includes a second portion overlapping the transmission area and connected to the first portion.
