    Abstract: A touch sensor includes: a substrate that includes active and non-active regions; driving cells disposed on the active region that extend in a first direction; sensing cells disposed on the active region that extend in a second direction that intersects the first direction; a first connection pattern that connects adjacent driving cells; a second connection pattern that connects adjacent sensing cells; and a touch driver disposed on the non-active region that includes thin film transistors that transmit a driving signal to each of the driving cells. The thin film transistor includes: a semiconductor layer; a gate electrode disposed on the semiconductor layer with a first insulating layer interposed therebetween; and source and drain electrodes connected to the semiconductor layer and spaced apart from each other. The first connection pattern is disposed in the same layer as at least one of the source or drain electrodes or the gate electrode.

    Abstract: There are provided a fingerprint sensor and a display device including the same. The fingerprint sensor includes a base substrate in which a first sensing region and a second sensing region are defined on a plane, first photo sensors disposed on the first sensing region of the base substrate, and second photo sensors disposed on the second sensing region of the base substrate. The first sensing region has an area larger than that of the second sensing region, and the first photo sensor has a width wider than that of the second photo sensor.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including first and second areas. The display panel includes: pixels located in the first and second areas and connected to scan lines, and including light emitting elements; first light sensors located in the first area and connected to the scan lines, and including first light receiving elements; and second light sensors located in the second area and connected to the scan lines, and including second light receiving elements. The first and second light sensors are connected to a reset line. A reset signal of a first pattern is applied to the reset line in a first mode in which sensing information is generated based on the first light sensors. The reset signal of a second pattern is applied to the reset line in a second mode in which sensing information is generated based on the second light sensors.
