Abstract: A display apparatus including a display panel, a polarizing member disposed on the display panel and having an absorption axis and a transmission axis perpendicular to each other, and a touch electrode disposed on the display panel, overlapping the polarizing member, and extending in a first direction crossing an absorption axis direction parallel to the absorption axis, in which the touch electrode includes touch patterns and a connection pattern connecting the adjacent touch patterns in the first direction, the connection pattern has a minimum width in a direction perpendicular to a second direction crossing the first direction, the first direction and the absorption axis direction form a first directional angle equal to or less than substantially 90 degrees, the first direction and the second direction form a second directional angle equal to or less than substantially 90 degrees, and the first directional angle is equal to the second directional angle.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display layer, a sensor layer, and a sensor driver that receives a sensitivity value from a node defined in an area where one electrode intersects one cross electrode, and calculates an input coordinate based on the sensitivity value. When the sensitivity value received from the node is equal to or greater than a first threshold value, the sensor driver calculates the input coordinate based on the sensitivity value. When each of a plurality of sensitivity values received from the node and a plurality of peripheral nodes adjacent to the node is less than the first threshold value and greater than or equal to a second threshold value, the sensor driver calculates the input coordinate based on the plurality of sensitivity values.

Abstract: A display apparatus including a display panel, a polarizing member having an absorption axis and a transmission axis, and a first touch electrode extending in a first direction is disclosed. The first touch electrode includes first touch patterns and a connection pattern connecting adjacent first touch patterns in the first direction. The connection pattern has a minimum width in a direction perpendicular to a second direction. The first direction and the absorption axis direction form a first directional angle equal to or less than about 90 degrees. The first and second directions form a second directional angle equal to or less than about 90 degrees. The second and absorption axis directions form a third directional angle equal to or less than about 90 degrees. The first directional angle is the sum of the second directional angle and the third directional angle.
