Abstract: A coil component includes: a body having a first surface and a second surface opposing each other, and a first end surface and a second end surface connecting the first surface and the second surface to each other and opposing each other in a first direction; a coil unit disposed in the body; and first and second external electrodes disposed on the body, and respectively connected to the coil unit, wherein the coil component includes a slit portion formed in at least one of the first surface of the body and the second surface of the body, spaced apart from each of the first and second external electrodes, and extending in a direction intersecting the first direction, and a dimension Ws of the slit portion in the first direction is less than or equal to 20.8% of a dimension Lc of the coil component in the first direction.
