Abstract: An electronic device and a control method therefor are provided. The electronic device comprises: a communication unit; and a processor configured to receive, from at least one cabinet of a plurality of cabinets, position information on a defective pixel detected in each cabinet through the communication unit, identify a position, on an entire screen consisting of the plurality of cabinets, where the defective pixel is present on the basis of the position information of the defective pixel, identify a defective area on the entire screen on the basis of the identified position, and provide information on the identified defective area. Here, each of the plurality of cabinets includes a plurality of display modules, wherein each of the plurality of display modules includes a plurality of pixels each consisting of a plurality of LEDs.
