Abstract:
A method for application management and an electronic device therefor are provided. The electronic device includes a memory configured to store a first application, and a processor configured to obtain a request for installing a second application, compare a first identifier corresponding to the first application with a second identifier corresponding to the second application, if the first identifier is the same as the second identifier, compare first signature information corresponding to the first application with second signature information corresponding to the second application, if the first signature information is different from the second signature information, compare the first signature information with additional signature information corresponding to the second application, and if the first signature information is the same as the additional signature information, replace at least a portion of the first application by using at least a portion of the second application.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a processor, and a memory configured to store a messenger application, wherein the processor is configured to output the messenger application on the display and output a list of chat rooms joined based on a first user account on the display, and wherein the list of the plurality of chat rooms comprises a first chat room, in which the electronic device participates, and a second chat room in which another electronic device participates.

Abstract:
A terminal device is provided. The terminal device includes an input unit configured to receive an input of a user command inviting a non-subscriber of a messaging service to join a messaging group, and a communication unit configured to transmit a request for invitation information to a server, when the invitation information is received from the server, to transmit an invitation message including the invitation information and an application installation Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to a non-subscriber terminal, and when a join result of the non-subscriber joining the messaging service is received, to transmit a request for an invitation of the non-subscriber to the messaging group.
Abstract:
A rotor having an improved structure capable of achieving enhanced durability is disposed in a motor, the rotor including a sleeve having a shaft hole, through which a motor shaft extends, rotor cores spaced apart from one another in a circumferential direction of the rotor, and permanent magnets each disposed between adjacent ones of the rotor cores such that the permanent magnets are arranged in a radial manner about the sleeve. First and second cover plates may be disposed at opposite sides of the permanent magnets in an axial direction. Each of the first and second cover plates may include a shaft receiving hole to receive the motor shaft. The rotor may include a plurality of support members each having a magnet support portion arranged to support an outer end of a corresponding one of the permanent magnets in a radial direction of the rotor.

Abstract:
A wireless mobile device for personalizing the control and IVI settings of a connected vehicle according to a seat position of a user of the mobile device. The wireless mobile device is configured to: i) receive a radio signal from each of a plurality of beacons in the vehicle; ii) determine a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) value for each received radio signal; iii) apply a seat prediction model M to the RS SI value for each received radio signal to predict a seat position P; and iv) transmit a predicted seat position P to a server. The seat prediction model M is generated by a machine learning process and stored in a server. A beacon array configuration, data collection and generalization procedure optimizes the coverage and accuracy of the model M. The wireless mobile device is further configured to receive an identification (ID) value of the vehicle. The wireless mobile device retrieves the seat prediction model M from the server and caches in memory in the wireless mobile device. Once the vehicle knows the in-vehicle seat position of a user, on-demand personalization will follow automatically. The personalization can be for vehicle controls, IVI head unit or backseat entertainment system, etc., according to user's in-vehicle seat position.
