摘要： A method for contents management in an electronic device can include generating a contents list, based on a user input, detecting selection of a contents list entry in the contents list, and creating one or more contents related to a content of the selected contents list entry, when creating the one or more related contents, generating a tag based on at least part of the content corresponding to the selected contents list entry, adding the tag to the one or more related contents, and adding a contents list entry of the one or more related contents comprising the tag, to the contents list.

摘要： A method and apparatus for providing a phonebook using an image in a portable terminal are provided. The method includes recording contact information in metadata of an image, and performing a linkage function using the image having the contact information recorded therein.
