摘要： A method and relay user equipment are provided. The relay user equipment detects one or more other relay user equipment (UE) that is within a network area including the relay user equipment, that is in an announcing mode, and that is providing Proximity Service to one or more remote UEs that is outside the network area; and switches a mode of the relay user equipment from a monitoring mode to the announcing mode, or from the announcing mode to the monitoring mode, based the one or more other relay UE that is detected.
