摘要： A drying apparatus for use with a laundry dryer includes a first section and a second section. Each section has a plurality of walls defining a cavity, the cavity comprising a portion of a channel for air flow. A first wall among the plurality of walls has a substantially flat exterior surface and a plurality of openings extending through the first wall from the exterior surface to the portion of the channel. The first section and the second section are configured to be disposed substantially adjacent to each other to form the channel. The first section comprises an air outlet cover at a first end, the air outlet cover configured to substantially cover an air outlet of the laundry dryer.

摘要： A clothing dryer and control method thereof is provided. A conventional dryness sensor may be used, without installation of a separate component, to detect breakage of a belt. Upon detection of belt breakage, the motor is stopped together with report of abnormality of the to reduce cost. A conventional temperature sensor may be used to maintain a proper surface temperature of a door of the clothing dryer, without installation of a separate component. Thereby, harm to a user due to rise in the surface temperature of the door may be prevented, and degradation of drying quality may be prevented. Furthermore, the pipe temperature of a compressor may be used to detect incorrect or broken wiring of the compressor. When incorrect or broken wiring of the compressor is detected, the compress is stopped together with report of to protect the product.

摘要： A clothing dryer having an improved structure of a drainage unit thereof, including: a body; a drum; a base that is disposed at a lower portion of the drum; a first water tub that is mounted on the base to collect condensate water generated when a drying operation is performed; and a plurality of drainage pipes that are combined with one side of the first water tub and cause the condensate water to move, wherein, in order to change a position at which the plurality of drainage pipes and the first water tub are combined with each other, the first water tub is combined with edges of the base so that at least a part of the first water tub is able to be exposed to an outside.
