摘要： A method of removing a bad pixel from a pixel image is provided. The method includes determining whether a representative pixel representing at least one bad pixel is included in a kernel, determining whether a first pixel is a bad pixel when the representative pixel is included in the kernel, and compensating for the first pixel using a second pixel in the kernel when the first pixel is determined to be a bad pixel. The kernel has the first pixel at a center of the kernel.

摘要： A pixel array for an image sensor is provided. The pixel array includes a dark pixel which is configured to detect a local dark current in an active pixel block. The dark pixel is distinguished from an optical black pixel block which is arranged around the active pixel block and is configured to detect a global dark current. The pixel array is configured to compensate for dark shading, which is not compensated through global dark current compensation, using the local dark current output from the dark pixel which is arranged within the active pixel block.

摘要： Provided are a pixel processing apparatus, and an image signal processing apparatus and an image processing system each including the same. The pixel processing apparatus includes a bad pixel processing unit configured to determine whether a target pixel is a bad pixel based on pixel data of an image sensor, output a bad pixel detection signal according to a result of determining whether the target pixel is a bad pixel, compensate for a pixel value of the target pixel based on the pixel data, and output the compensated pixel value; and a noise removal unit configured to remove noise from the pixel value of the target pixel, based on the bad pixel detection signal, the pixel value, the compensated pixel value, and weight information.
