摘要: A radiation imaging apparatus, including a plurality of pixels, a plurality of column lines and a processor, the plurality of pixels including first pixels and second pixels configured to generate signals of different values by receiving radiation rays of equal irradiation rates, and the plurality of pixels being arrayed such that their numbers are different between a first column and a second column of the plurality of columns, wherein the processor, after radiation irradiation is started, obtains a first signal of the first column and a second signal of the second column while maintaining each pixel to an OFF state and performs AEC based on the first and second signals.

摘要: An imaging array having a plurality of pixel sensors connected to a bit line is disclosed. Each pixel sensor includes a first photodetector having a photodiode, a floating diffusion node, and an amplifier. The floating diffusion node is characterized by a parasitic photodiode and parasitic capacitance. The amplifier amplifies a voltage on the floating diffusion node to produce a signal on an amplifier output. The first photodetector also includes a bit line gate that connects the amplifier output to the bit line in response to a row select signal and a voltage dividing capacitor having a first terminal connected to the floating diffusion node and a second terminal connected to a drive source that switches a voltage on the second terminal between a drive potential different from ground and ground in response to a drive control signal.

The video converter extracts the information related to the respective adjustments of the video signals from the transmission information and includes a second processing circuit that generates, on a basis of these pieces of information related to the adjustments, a restoration pixel signal by inverse-transforming one of the video signals included in the transmission information, and also generates a video signal corresponding to the other one of the video signals by performing an adjustment for the other one of the video signals on this restoration pixel signal.

摘要: Imaging systems and methods are disclosed that use locally flat scenes to adjust image data. An imaging system includes an array of photodetectors configured to produce an array of intensity values corresponding to light intensity at the photodetectors. The imaging system can be configured to acquire a frame of intensity values, or an image frame, and analyze the image frame to determine if it is locally flat. If the image frame is locally flat, then that image data can be used to determine gradients present in the image frame. An offset mask can be determined from the image data and that offset mask can be used to adjust subsequently acquired image frames to reduce or remove gradients.

摘要: Presence or absence of a photon is accurately detected in an image sensor with a simple configuration. A pixel circuit generates as an input voltage a signal voltage by photoelectrically converting light when the light is incident, and generates as the input voltage a predetermined reset voltage when light is not incident. A capacitor retains the predetermined reset voltage as a retained voltage. An amplification comparator amplifies a voltage difference between the input voltage and the retained voltage. A detection comparator outputs a result of determining whether or not the amplified voltage difference is higher than a predetermined value, as a detection signal indicating detected presence or absence of light incidence.

The OB clamp processor performs one of various correction processes depending on an imaging condition.
