Abstract: A method for determining a motion vector includes: determining at least one inter-layer reference block by referring to an inter-layer corresponding block of a current processing block; determining the motion vector(s) of the current processing block according to the motion vector(s) of the determined at least one inter-layer reference block as well as the motion vectors of the other adjacent blocks of the current processing block.
