Abstract:
Disclosed herein are an ultrasound imaging apparatus and a method for controlling the same. An occluded region generated in a 2D image may be removed by performing frame interpolation on a surface region of an object by extracting the surface region of the object from 3D ultrasonic volume data and calculating a motion vector in the extracted surface region, and an amount of calculation may be reduced by calculating a motion vector of the surface region in 3D volume data. The ultrasound imaging apparatus includes a volume data generator configured to acquire volume data which relates to the object, a surface region extractor configured to extract the surface region of the object based on the acquired volume data, and a frame interpolator configured to perform frame interpolation on the extracted surface region of the object.
Abstract:
A high voltage power supply (HVPS) without an output voltage adjustment, a method of adjusting an output voltage of a HVPS, and an image forming apparatus using the method are provided. The image forming apparatus includes a high-voltage output unit that outputs a high voltage produced by the HVPS, a tag that stores an offset voltage information and is attached to the HVPS, and a high-voltage output control unit that reads the tag attached to the HVPS to extract the offset voltage information, and corrects a high-voltage output control signal by using the offset voltage information to change the high voltage output by the high-voltage output unit. Accordingly, a process of adjusting an output voltage of an HVPS as a single component is not required. The manufacturing costs of HVPSs are reduced, and the process of finely adjusting an output voltage of the HVPS is simplified.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an ultrasonic apparatus for displaying one of an ultrasonic image, an external image and a composite image thereof by recognizing the position of eyes of a user, and a control method thereof. The ultrasonic apparatus includes a storage configured to store an external image of an object, an image processor configured to generate a composite image by registering an ultrasonic image of the object with respect to the stored external image, a recognizer configured to recognize a position of eyes of a user, and a display configured to display one of the ultrasonic image, the external image and the composite image of the ultrasonic image and the external image, based on the recognized position of the eyes of the user.
