Abstract: Sustainability reference content from a variety of sources can be imported into a canonical format for a variety of uses. Product footprint analysis can be performed by accessing the imported sustainability reference content. The canonical format can support a variety of features relating to normalization of units, validity time window, geographical indications, and content quality. API access can be provided to facilitate content update. Automated data import from lifecycle assessment content providers can be supported along with manual input of data from arbitrary sources such as users, vendors, suppliers, or the like. Scope can go beyond footprint analysis to environmental health compliance and other use cases.

Abstract: Emission footprints can be calculated and provided for consumption by software applications. To do this, product data including a quantity of a product, components of the product, and activities for the product are obtained. Emission factor data for the components indicating a carbon dioxide impact of the components per unit are obtained. One or more emissions footprints are calculated per product, per material, and per activity based on a time period, the quantity, the components, the activities, and the emission factor data. Each of the emissions footprints indicates an amount of carbon dioxide per unit for a corresponding product, material, or activity. The calculated emissions footprints for the time period are provided via an application programming interface or as a published event.

Activity data may be received for an organization, and emissions factors may be determined for the activity data. An indication of the absolute, relative, and/or average relative footprints may be generated for display on a graphical user interface of a computing device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for operations related to intelligent action logging for cloud applications. An embodiment operates by identifying an event associated with an application executing on the processor. The event is compared to criteria for logging the event in one or more of a plurality of logs. The log includes its own unique criteria for logging the event. If it is determined that the event satisfies the criteria of the action log, then detail about the event are written onto an action log using a log format associated with the action log, which is different from a log format of a technical log.
