Abstract:
A separation unit for separating a web material along preformed lines of weakness is provided. The separation unit includes at least a first roller, and at least a second roller having a rotational axis extending parallel with said rotational axis of said first roller. The rotational axis of the second roller is positioned at a distance from the rotational axis of said first roller. Each of the first and said second rollers is provided with at least one protrusion element. Outer portions of the protrusion elements on the first roller are partially overlapping with outer portions of the protrusion elements on the second roller with a radial overlap length, thus forming an undulating passage for a web material between the rollers. The distance between the rotational axes of the first and the second rollers is adjustable, enabling the radial overlap length in the undulating passage to be variable.

A dispenser for dispensing a sheet of web material from a stack of folded web material, the dispenser including: a web material storage section arranged to hold and support the stack of folded web material; the web material storage section including an upper end portion from which the web material is arranged to be lead for dispensing thereof, a lower end portion, opposite to the upper end portion, the upper end portion and lower end portion being arranged in a fixed spatial relationship. The lower end portion of the web material storage section includes a loading opening and a supporting arrangement, arranged to be movable between a support position wherein the supporting arrangement extends at least partially over said loading opening enabling the support of the stack of folded web material, and an insert position.

A dispenser for dispensing at least one perforated web from a storage of web material, the dispenser including: a housing arranged to hold a storage of perforated web material, wherein a web path extends along a feeding direction in an interior of the housing from a storage position to a dispensing opening of the dispenser, and a separation arrangement being arranged along said web path, for separating the at least one perforated web along the perforations thereof, said separation arrangement including a first unit and a second unit, the second unit being arranged downstream of said first unit. The first unit is arranged to provide a tensioning force on said web, said tensioning force being at least 2 N/m, and the second unit being arranged to stretch the web material along the length of the web and along the width of the web.
