摘要： A flexible printed circuit interconnecting cable which includes a flexible circuitry assembly including an array of conductors mounted on a flexible substrate film and covered with a flexible covering film. In order to achieve flexure through a plurality of coordinates of planes, the substrate is cut or slit longitudinally between mutually adjacent pairs of conductors, and thereafter opposed end segments of the assembly are twisted relative to each other so as to achieve a plurality of independent helices which will provide a flexural plane for any desired relative motion between the opposed ends of the assembly. The slit wound portion may be covered with a sleeve of flexible material such as, for example, vinyl tubing or metallic spring material.
