Abstract: A power converter system including an input configured to receive input AC power from an input power source, the input power source having a peak voltage limit, at least one output configured to provide output power to at least one load, a charger coupled to the input and configured to convert the input AC power into first DC power, a DC bus configured to receive the first DC power, at least one power converter configured to convert DC power from the DC bus into the output power, and an auxiliary power source coupled to the DC bus and configured to provide second DC power to the DC bus to supplement the first DC power provided by the charger in response to a voltage demand of the at least one load exceeding the peak voltage limit of the input power source.

Abstract: Uninterruptible power supplies, power modules, and non-transitory computer readable mediums storing instructions for operating such power modules, the power modules comprising an input configured to receive AC power from an AC power source, an output configured to provide AC output power to a load, and a plurality of power modules coupled in parallel between the input and the output, each power module of the plurality of power modules configured to provide at least a portion of the AC output power to the output. Each power module of the plurality of power modules comprises a current compensator stage configured to generate a current error signal based on output current of a corresponding power module and a gain adjustment stage configured to adjust the current error signal based on a measurement of the output current and a desired output current of the corresponding power module.

Abstract: According to at least one aspect, embodiments herein provide a traffic light power management system comprising a power source, a first output, a service bypass unit and a power management unit. The service bypass unit is configured to receive AC power from the power source, convert the AC power to a first DC power in a first mode of operation, provide the first DC power to the first output in the first mode of operation, and provide the AC power to a power management unit in a second mode of operation. The power management unit is coupled to the service bypass unit, and is configured to receive the AC power from the service bypass unit in the second mode of operation, convert the AC power to a second DC power in the second mode of operation, and provide the DC power to the first output in the second mode of operation.

Abstract: According to one aspect, an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) is provided. The UPS includes a first input constructed to receive input power from a first power source, a second input constructed to receive input power from a second power source, an output constructed to provide output alternating current (AC) power derived from at least one of the first power source and the second power source, a bypass switch having an on state and an off state coupled between the first input and the output, an inverter coupled between the second input and the output and constructed to generate the output AC power. The UPS being constructed to quickly transition from a first power delivery mode that provides output power derived from the first power source to a second power delivery mode that provides output power derived from the second power source.
