Abstract:
A piston and compression and oil control piston rings unit for internal combustion engines, said unit being placed in a cylinder delimiting a combustion chamber with its head and said piston which comprises a body formed with a head and a skirt, grooves receiving said rings, oil return orifices and a central cavity, each piston ring and its groove comprising a pair of upper contiguous faces and a pair of lower contiguous faces one of said faces of each piston ring being a face assuming the main work of the piston ring, in which: AN EFFICIENT SEALING MEANS IS PLACED BETWEEN THE FACE OF EACH PISTON RING ASSUMING THE MAIN WORK OF THE PISTON RING AND THE CONTIGUOUS FACE OF ITS GROOVE, ON AT LEAST A CIRCLE ADJOINING THE INNER LIMIT OF THE FACE OF THE PISTON RING, AND AN ACCESS MEANS IS PLACED ON AT LEAST ONE IMPORTANT PART OF THE AREA BETWEEN THE UPPER CONTIGUOUS FACES OF EACH PISTON RING AND ITS GROOVE, FOR THE PRESSURE EXISTING ABOVE THE PISTON RING.
Abstract:
The invention has for its object an equipment for the irrigation, treatment and feeding of soils and plants by the underground diffusion of fluids, of which at least one is a liquid, over ground which may exhibit differences in levels, comprising an underground system of distribution of fluids free from products in suspension (irrigation water and/or treatment liquids or gases) in the vicinity of the roots of the plants, characterized in that each point of diffusion of fluid of the system is constituted by a means of extraction of fluid from the system by an access means for the fluid into the ground through a porous wall and by a connection means between the extraction means and the porous wall, at least one of these three means ensuring the control and regulation of the flowrate of the fluid in dependence at least on the supply times of the system, on the level in the said system of the point of diffusion and on the needs of the plants served.
