Abstract: A liquid ejecting device includes a base portion, a liquid ejecting portion movably provided at the base portion, a medium supporting portion provided at the base portion and configured to support a printing medium in a printing region where the liquid ejecting portion performs printing, and a maintenance portion disposed in a region on the +X direction side of the printing region in the X-axis direction in the base portion. The maintenance portion includes a moisturizing portion that can form a closed space to which nozzle opens, a cleaning portion that can forcibly discharge liquid from the nozzle, and a wiper that can wipe a nozzle surface where the nozzle is provided. The moisturizing portion, the cleaning portion and the wiper are disposed side by side in the Y-axis direction.

Abstract: First, second, and third ink absorbing bodies are accommodated in a container of a recovery reservoir in this order from the side corresponding to a bottom surface of the container, so that an introduction chamber is defined in the middle of a recovery space. A lid having a shutter plate and a communication hole is located over the third ink absorbing body. The upper side of the introduction chamber is covered by the shutter plate to suppress volatilization of solvent element of waste ink introduced into the introduction chamber. In addition, the communication hole is located in a portion of the upper surface of the third ink absorbing body, so that solvent element of ink absorbed by the third ink absorption body volatilizes.

Abstract: A liquid ejection device includes: a head including a nozzle surface in which a nozzle is opened, the head being configured to eject liquid from the nozzle; a standby cap that covers the nozzle by coming into contact with the head; a receiving unit that receives the liquid ejected from the nozzle; and a maintenance unit that performs maintenance of the head. The head moves in a first area, a second area, and a printing area by moving in a scanning direction, and performs printing on a medium by ejecting the liquid onto the medium while moving in the printing area. The printing area is located between the first area and the second area in the scanning direction. The standby cap and the accommodation unit are located in the first area. The maintenance unit is located in the second area.

Abstract: A fluid storage container features outstanding impact resistance and stores a plurality of fluids. The fluid storage container has a case body, a cover, and another cover. The case body has a divider that isolates a waste ink storage unit and an ink pack storage unit, and perimeter walls formed around the divider, thus forming a recess on each side of the divider. The case body is open at the outside edge part of each perimeter wall. The one cover covers the open part of the perimeter wall on the waste ink storage unit side.
