摘要： A plate separator for use with disposable paper or plastic plates being dispensed from a self-leveling well-type plate dispenser and comprising a bent metal body member swingably arranged at one end with respect to one side of the dispensing well opening is described. The bent sheet metal body member is formed along its length into a reversely bent nose portion adapted to abuttingly engage marginal underside portions of upside-down stacked and upwardly pressed plates at one side of the dispenser well, which nose portion merges into a donwardly extending abutment portion adopted to limit the rotative swinging movement of the body member during the dispensing of plates, while at the same time urging a plurality of uppermost plates in the stack into abutting position against the other side of the well for proper co-operation with the nose portion in ''''fanning out'''' a lesser plurality of the uppermost plates for dispensing.

摘要： An interconnecting and locking device for joining portable food service cabinets and the like in side-by-side relation while at the same time adjusting them to be in substantial vertical and horizontal alignment simply by pushing the cabinets together. The device comprises elongated male and female connector members adapted to be secured horizontally along opposed upper edge portions of the cabinets to be joined, the female connector member having an elongated recess along its length and the male connector member having an elongated nose member along its length, both of which are convergently beveled to the outside to serve as horizontal and vertical locating means upon interconnection of the device. Releasable latch means is provided for locking the device in interconnected relation while at the same time providing for manual release for separating the cabinets.

摘要： Torsion bar mechanism for resiliently elevating the carrier of a self-leveling dispenser is described. A horizontal carriage arranged for vertical movement with respect to a support structure, in cantilever relation with respect thereto, has secured thereto one end each of a pair of horizontally-extending, spaced, paralled, torsion bars, the outer ends of which have affixed thereto mutually inwardly-extending lever arms journaled to the outer ends of which are guide wheels constrained to move along respective elongated guide channel members angularly disposed with respect to the vertical direction of carrier movement so as to substantially uniformly increase torsional stress in the torsion bars as the carrier is depressed. Manually operable crank means is provided for simultaneously varying the angles of inclination of the guide channels for wide-range adjustment of the resilient reactive force per linear unit downward movement of the carrier.
