Abstract: A batch comprising at least two containers and at least one strip. The strip holds the containers together, wherein each of said containers has a body and a bottom aligned in a main direction, the at least one strip covers said batch at the peripheral wall of the body of said container. In example embodiments, the at least one strip comprises semi-extensible paper. Additional aspects of the present invention relate to a method for packaging such a batch of containers and a paper retaining strip for such a batch and to the use, in the form of a strip, of such a semi-extensible paper for holding the containers together within such a batch.
