摘要: A method for producing a package of smoking articles having an ordered group of packets arranged in mutual contact, including: advancing the packets in a row and receiving one packet after another between a first and a second ring-shaped moving member, accumulating the packets between the moving members so as to extend the row of packets, without interruptions, between the moving members; applying onto the accumulated packets, a continuous band of adhesive sheet; separating by a given distance an ordered group of packets from the remaining packets of the row, which are located upstream of the moving members; cutting the band at a tract within the distance between the ordered group of packets and row of packets, so as to separate a strip of adhesive sheet from the band, which is applied to the ordered group of packets and holds together the packets of the group.

摘要: A carrier for at least partially holding a plurality of containers. The carrier can comprise a plurality of panels including a bottom panel, an outer side panel, a top panel, an inner side panel, a central panel, and an end flap. At least a first container receiver and a second container receiver extend in at least the bottom panel for at least partially receiving containers of the plurality of containers. An inner opening can extend in the inner side panel for at least partially receiving a first flange of a first container at least partially received in the first container receiver, and a free edge of the end flap can be for engaging a second flange of a second container at least partially received in the second container receiver. The central panel can extend at least partially between the first container receiver and the second container receiver.

摘要: A method of packaging a plurality of food containers and a package for food containers are disclosed. The method is fast and inexpensive and optimizes the use of cardboard or paperboard to make the package without plastics and may be used in the mass production of packaging for containers. The package is defined by a plurality of containers placed on a tray of optimal dimensions according to the dimensions of the containers. The tray is creased and has two side flaps that can be rotated to attach to the side faces of the containers by glue. The extension of the flaps is proportional to the height of the containers and the flaps can be punched in order to have aesthetically appreciable shapes and to reduce the bulk and the risk of breaking the package made.

摘要: A system and method are provided for palletless shipment of gas cylinder arrays. A three-dimensional array of gas cylinders is formed from a plurality of vertically-stacked two-dimensional subarrays. First elongated voids extend through the array in a width direction at a first handle elevation. Second elongated voids extend through the array in a depth direction at a second handle elevation. The first and second elongated voids are bilaterally bounded by handle portions of adjacent gas cylinders, and vertically bounded by upper and lower surfaces of surrounding cylinders. Pairs of tunnel elements are disposed within respective elongated voids and are each configured to releasably receive a corresponding forklift tong. Vertically-disposed pillars may be provided to increase the rigidity and load distribution of the system. Flaps may radiate from the pillars to minimize impact and abrasion between adjacent cylinders during shipment. Key system components may be inexpensively formed from recyclable, lightweight materials.

摘要: A friction lock adaptable spacer configured to provide suitable separation between two or more objects. The spacer may be used during the storage, transport, display, and/or use of the objects to separate them and protect them from their surrounding environment. In some embodiments, the spacer is designed to maintain a suitable separation between two or more beverage containers. The spacer has a single piece construction, which reduces assembly and disassembly labor, and also reduces materials required for construction and disposal. The spacer may be constructed from a single piece of material, such as corrugated cardboard.

摘要: A food container which includes a bottle with a generally cylindrical body, a generally arcuate neck and an elongated pouch which can be formed into a donut-like shape to fit onto the bottle neck. Before it is filled, the elongated pouch is preferably formed in a generally rectangular shape of a light, clear plastic which is sealed at one end and open at the other end. Through the open end, the elongated pouch is filled with food. After the elongated pouch is filled, its open end is sealed. The elongated pouch is then formed into a donut-like shape by affixing its respective ends together using, for example, tape. The donut-like shaped pouch is then inserted onto the generally arcuate neck of the bottle which is filled with a different food product.
