Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program, the information processing apparatus and the information processing method making it possible to appropriately combine observation values of a plurality of sensors according to the noise characteristics of the plurality of sensors and a condition for the observation values.
An Allan variance is calculated as the characteristics of each of the plurality of sensors. A time window length for an Allan variance is specified as a condition used when the observation values of the plurality of sensors are combined. A weight for each of the plurality of sensors is calculated such that a sum of the Allan variances for the specified time window length is smallest. The respective observation values of the plurality of sensors are combined using a sum of products of the observation values of the plurality of sensors and the weights each calculated for a corresponding one of the plurality of sensors. The present disclosure is applicable to a multi-IMU.-

Abstract: LDPC coding is executed using a check matrix of an LDPC code whose code length is 736 bits and whose code rate is 1/4, and modulation is executed using a repetition unit that has an LDPC code obtained by the LDPC coding, repeatedly arranged therein. The LDPC code includes information bits and parity bits, the check matrix includes an information matrix portion corresponding to the information bits and a parity matrix portion corresponding to the parity bits, the parity matrix portion has a stepwise structure, the information matrix portion is indicated by a check matrix initial value table, and the check matrix initial value table is a predetermined table indicating positions of elements of “1” of the information matrix portion for each eight columns. This technique is applicable to, for example, information transmission using the LDPC code.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a reception device, reception method, and program that can prevent erroneous detection of a predetermined signal, such as a P1 signal, included in, for example, a received signal such as DVB-T2.A correlation calculation unit obtains a correlation value between received signals including a predetermined signal in which an original signal and a duplicate signal obtained from a copy of at least a part of the original signal are disposed. An average power calculation unit obtains average power of the received signals. A normalization unit obtains a normalized correlation value obtained by normalizing the correlation value by the average power. The present technology can be applied to a case where a P1 signal being a preamble signal is detected from a received signal such as DVB-T2, for example.
