Abstract: To provide a server, a client, a control method, and a storage medium that can further promote social interactions of users attending a specific event. Provided is a server including: a communication unit configured to receive a profile of a user or an interest signal indicating interest in a specific event along with identification information of the user from a client; an accumulation unit configured to accumulate the profile of the user in association with the identification information of the user; and a control unit configured to perform control to cause the identification information of the user to be stored in the accumulation unit in association with the specific event according to the interest signal indicating interest in the specific event, to search for a user having a profile similar to the received profile of the user based on the identification information of the user associated with the specific event and to automatically create a group constituted of users of similar interests, and to transmit information of the created group to the client from the communication unit when it is a predetermined time before an opening of the specific event.
