There is provided an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that can suppress hindrance to viewing/listening to content. A control unit controls output of a tactile stimulus in a case where notification information is received during output of content including sound. Further, the control unit performs a process of controlling the tactile stimulus in response to the content or a process of controlling the content in response to the tactile stimulus. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a mobile device such as a smartphone and the like capable of reproducing content including sound.

To provide a head-mounted display excellent in portability and operability. A head-mounted display according to the present technology includes a main body and an input operation section. The main body includes a display section configured to present an image to a user and is configured to be mountable on a head of the user. The input operation section includes a first detection element that extends in a first axis direction and is provided in the main body and electrostatically detects an operation position in the first axis direction, and a first guide section that guides an input operation of the user along the first axis direction on the first detection element, and controls the image.

An outside-display-region-position designation unit designates a position outside a display region of an image display unit, and a drawing/sound control unit controls output of a sound of an AR object from a sound output unit while moving the AR objet toward the designated position. The present technology can be applied to a wearable computer, for example, a glasses-type device having a pair of image display units for a left eye and a right eye.

A head-mounted display 1 according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a reception unit 12, an image display element 14, and a display processing unit 132. The reception unit 12 receives an operation signal including information on a relative position of a detection target in contact with an input operation surface 21, which is output from the input device 2. The image display element 14 forms an image V1 presented to a user. The display processing unit 132 causes, based on the operation signal, the image display element 14 to display an operation image V10 with an auxiliary image P indicating a position of the detection target being overlapped on the image V1.
