Abstract: The present technology relates to an information processor and an information processing method that enable an improvement in a quality of an interactive system. An information processor is provided that includes a generating section that generates a question directed to obtaining high-order information on the basis of first-order information that is primary information, the high-order information being higher in order than the first-order information and corresponding to an answer from a user. This makes it possible to obtain information higher in order than the primary information. Such an information processor enables an improvement in the quality of the interactive system. The present technology is, for example, applicable to a voice interactive system.
