Abstract: The disclosure is a computer-implemented method for detecting and influencing dreaming. In one embodiment, the user wears a smartwatch paired with a smartphone. The application monitors the sensors to detect REM sleep in real-time. The application allows users to set their dream incubation via the selection of an existing dream script or the coding of a new one. The dream script consists of instructions to play a series of cues: light, sound, vibration, etc. separated by user-specified time delays. The user selects a wake-up window, during which dream script playback can occur, and the dream script is previewed just before sleep. The application waits until the appropriate time and monitors for REM sleep. When REM sleep is detected , the dream script plays back. Some of the stimuli are incorporated into the dream, reminding the dreamer of their intention while also biasing the dream in the desired direction.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wearing detection are described. A user device may determine a condition to trigger an oxygen saturation measurement, or a measure of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), for a user of a wearable device. The condition may be based on a physical state of the wearable device, a physiological state of the user, or both. In some examples, the user device may determine the condition based on one or more relationships between sensor data from the wearable device, application data, physiological data from the wearable device, or any combination thereof. The user device may receive a measure of oxygen saturation of the user from the wearable device. The user device may cause a graphical user interface (GUI) of the user device to display an indication of the measure of the oxygen saturation for the user.

Abstract: Disclosed are devices and methods for non-invasively measuring arterial stiffness using pulse wave analysis of photoplethysmogram data. In some implementations, wearable biometric monitoring devices provided herein for measuring arterial stiffness have the ability to automatically and intelligently obtain PPG data under suitable conditions while the user is engaged in activities or exercises. In some implementations, wearable biometric monitoring devices are provided herein with the ability to remove PPG data variance caused by factors unrelated to arterial stiffness. In some implementations, wearable biometric monitoring devices have the ability to perform PWA while accounting for the user's activities, conditions, or status.

Abstract: A sleeping application receives initial sensor data from one or more sensors of a sensor set in a physical environment for a time period, wherein the sensor set includes at least one of a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, a humidity sensor, a light sensor, a sound sensor, a thermal-imaging sensor, and a motion sensor. The sleeping application behavior patterns of a set of sleep events of a target subject based on the initial sensor data. The sleeping application generates a recommendation based on the behavior patterns to achieve a target outcome for a target subject in the physical environment. The sleeping application provides the recommendation.
