    摘要: To provide a vehicle headlight whose irradiation light is capable of ensuring sufficient illuminance to the immediate front side of the vehicle. A vehicle headlight irradiating light to the front of a vehicle including a first unit which generates light in order to form a first low beam, a second unit which generates light in order to form a high beam and a second low beam, where a portion of the high beam on the lower end side overlaps a portion of the first low beam on the upper side, and the other portion is formed above the first low beam without overlapping the first low beam, and where a portion of the second low beam on the upper side overlaps a portion of the first low beam on the lower side, and the other portion is formed below the first low beam without overlapping the first low beam.

A vehicle headlight system includes a plurality of light sources, a power supply supplying a drive voltage to the light sources, a controller individually controlling a lit/off state of each light source, and a failure detection circuit connected to the controller and detects a failure of the light sources, where, in response to a start of the vehicle, the controller executes a control operation in which all light sources are controlled from the off state to the lit state and then the light sources are controlled to the off state sequentially and individually, and where, while the control operation is executed, at least during the period of transition from the off state to the lit state of each light source, the controller acquires failure detection result and generates a warning signal when the failure is detected.

    摘要: A headlamp control system includes: a headlamp that emits light toward a forward direction of a vehicle; a tilt detection part; and a control part. The headlamp includes: high beam emitting parts that respectively illuminate plural high beam areas arrayed in a left-right direction; and a low beam emitting part that illuminates a low beam area located at a lower position than the plural high beam areas. The control part, in a state where the low beam emitting part is on, when the tilt detection part detects that the vehicle has tilted such that one of left and right sides of the vehicle is lowered than the other one of the left and right sides, controls the high beam emitting parts so as to illuminate at least one of the plural high beam areas, the at least one being on the one of the left and right sides.

    摘要: A vehicular light switch can change the mode of an exterior-illuminating light by rotating to different positions including an auto setting and a SMALL setting. If the position of the vehicular light switch is rotated to the SMALL setting, a momentary mechanism returns the position to the auto setting. If extravehicular brightness is less than a prescribed value and the position is rotated to the SMALL setting whilst the vehicle is stationary, a first light controller turns off a low-beam light, and turns on the low-beam light if the vehicle runs afterwards. If extravehicular brightness is less than a prescribed value and the position is rotated to the SMALL setting while the vehicle is running, a second light controller keeps the low-beam light turned on.
