Abstract:
A combined head and nape magnetic-resonance coil device for a magnetic-resonance examination using a magnetic-resonance device, includes at least one posterior coil unit and at least two anterior coil units. At least one anterior coil unit of the at least two anterior coil units is mounted in relation to the posterior coil unit such that the at least one anterior coil unit may move along at least one direction of a spacing between the posterior coil unit and the at least one anterior coil unit.
Abstract:
A magnetic resonance system includes at least one coil and at least one coaxial line connecting the at least one coil to an electronic receive system. The at least one coil includes a preprocessing device that converts the received signals to at least one transmission frequency that is different from a transmit frequency. The coaxial line includes at least one sheath wave barrier with a trap suppressing sheath waves of transmit frequency both on the outside and the inside of a sheath conductor of the coaxial line.
Abstract:
Front bandpass filters that are essentially transmissive only between a minimum frequency and a maximum frequency filter the magnetic resonance signals. Front frequency mixers mix output signals of each of the bandpass filters with a front LO frequency that is standard for all the magnetic resonance signals. Rear bandpass filters that are essentially transmissive only around a front intermediate frequency filter the output signals of the front frequency mixers. Rear frequency mixers mix output signals of each of the rear bandpass filters with a respective constant rear LO frequency. Frequency filters that are transmissive for frequencies in the range of the difference of the rear LO frequency that is supplied to the rear frequency mixer arranged upstream thereof and the front intermediate frequency filter the output signals of the rear frequency mixers. Output signals of the frequency filters are combined into a common signal, which is transmitted onward.
