摘要： A shellac-substitute is described herein in the form of an acid-functional polymer or an acid-functional polyester polymer. The acid-functional polyester polymer, among other uses, is suitable for stain-blocking with coating compositions, such as primers, sealants, stain-blocking coating compositions, odor-blocking compositions, and/or varnishes.
