    Abstract: A display device includes sub-pixels corresponding to sub-pixel areas. Each of the sub-pixels includes a display unit including a light-emitting layer which emits light, and a reflection control layer disposed over the sub-pixel areas on the display unit, where the reflection control layer selectively absorbs light in a wavelength band. The reflection control layer includes a first layer and a second layer disposed on the first layer, where the second layer has a thickness less than a thickness of the first layer. The second layer includes a liquid repellent material.

    Abstract: A display device is provided. The display device includes a first substrate, a first electrode and a second electrode on the first substrate and spaced apart from each other, a first insulating layer on the first electrode and the second electrode, light-emitting elements on the first insulating layer and having ends on the first electrode and the second electrode, respectively, and a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer and the light-emitting elements, and defining openings exposing the ends of the light-emitting elements, wherein the second insulating layer is configured to transmit light in a wavelength range of light emitted by the light-emitting elements, and configured to block transmission of light outside of the wavelength range.

    Abstract: A display device may include a substrate including a transmission area having a first area in which a through hole is defined, a second area surrounding the first area, and a display area surrounding the transmission area; a display element layer disposed on the substrate in the display area; a dam part provided in the second area of the transmission area, the dam part being spaced apart from the display element layer; a thin film encapsulation layer disposed on the display element layer, the thin film encapsulation layer including a first sloped part having a height which becomes smaller as it approaches the dam part in the second area of the transmission area; and a dummy layer covering the first sloped part of the thin film encapsulation layer in the second area of the transmission area, the dummy layer including an outer edge portion extending into the display area adjacent to the second area.
