    摘要: A display device is disclosed that includes a display panel, a timing controller, and a data driver. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. The timing controller is configured to calculate an on-pixel ratio of first image data and correct the first image data into second image data based on the on-pixel ratio. The data driver is configured to generate a data signal based on the second image data and provide the data signal to the pixels. The timing controller calculates the second image data by estimating a temperature of the display panel using the on-pixel ratio and gamma-correcting the first image data in response to the temperature.

An interpolator may be configured to generate a first voltage value corresponding to an input data value using a preset gamma lookup table. A gamma compensator may be configured to, based on a dimming value, select at least one of a plurality of preset dimming lookup tables, and may calculate a first output data value by correcting the first voltage value based on the at least one dimming lookup table. A gamma voltage generator may be configured to generate a plurality of gamma voltages having a linear relationship. A data driver may be configured to select a first gamma voltage from among the gamma voltages based on the first output data value, and provide the first gamma voltage, as a data voltage, to the display panel.

    摘要: A display device includes: a display unit including pixels connected to data lines and scan lines, the display unit being partitioned into a plurality of blocks; at least one driver overlapping with the display unit in a plan view, where the at least one driver is configured to drive the display unit; a temperature sensor for generating an ambient temperature value; and a timing controller for generating a panel temperature value corresponding to an actual temperature of the display unit by using the ambient temperature value, and generating pixel temperature values corresponding to temperatures of the pixels, respectively, by using the panel temperature value. The timing controller is supplied with input data, and generates output data by reflecting the pixel temperature value on the input data.
