Abstract: A head mount display device includes a display panel including pixels, a shifter that divides the display panel into a reference area including a reference point and a peripheral area surrounding the reference area, and determines each of the reference area and the peripheral area as one of an upscaling area and a downscaling area, and a scaler that scales input image data based on the upscaling area and the downscaling area.
