Abstract: A display device includes a first source printed circuit board connected to a control printed circuit board through a cable, a second source printed circuit board connected to the first source printed circuit board through a flexible printed circuit board, a display panel connected to the first source printed circuit board and the second source printed circuit board through a connection part, and a timing controller determining predicted power currents based on input image data, determining a target gain based on the predicted power currents and a maximum allowable power current of the flexible printed circuit board, and correcting the input image data corresponding to a gain reduction region of the display panel based on the target gain. Accordingly, the display device may reduce a power current flowing through the flexible printed circuit board and may include a flexible printed circuit board including a small number of pins.
