    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a data driver configured to provide data signals to the plurality of pixels, a scan driver configured to provide scan signals to the plurality of pixels, and a controller configured to control the data driver and the scan driver. The controller includes a volatile age memory configured to store accumulated degradation amounts for the plurality of pixels, and an internal age memory configured to store backup accumulated degradation amounts generated based on the accumulated degradation amounts. The controller is further configured to compensate input image data by selectively using the accumulated degradation amounts of the volatile age memory or the backup accumulated degradation amounts of the internal age memory.

The compensator is configured to process input image data based on the decoded compensation data and generate accumulated stress data.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and a display panel driver. The display panel driver includes an over-driver which selects an over-driving data from an over-driving pattern which moves to a predetermined direction, generates a reference line based on a first polynomial expression generated based on the over-driving data, and generates an over-driving data lookup table by moving the reference line, a data driver which outputs a data signal generated based on the over-driving data lookup table to the data line of the display panel, and a gate driver which outputs a gate signal to the gate line of the display panel.
