Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a display panel; a driving controller, which receives input image data including a plurality of normal image frames and a plurality of black image frames, receives a flag indicating a type of each of frames included in the input image data, generates intermediate image data by adjusting a grayscale of the input image data based on the input image data and the flag, and generates a data signal based on the intermediate image data where the type includes a normal image frame and a black image frame; and a data driver, which generates a data voltage based on the data signal and outputs the data voltage to the display panel.

Each of the pixels receives a driving voltage through a first voltage line. The voltage generator provides the driving voltage to the first voltage line and determines the voltage level of the driving voltage based on the voltage control signal. The driving controller determines first to third gate-source voltages respectively corresponding to the first to third color signals and outputs the voltage control signal based on the first to third gate-source voltages.
