The organic electroluminescence device according to an embodiment includes a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, and a plurality of organic layers between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein at least one of the plurality of organic layers includes an organometallic complex including a metal atom which is a central atom, a plurality of ligand connected to the metal atom, and a nitrogen atom connecting two of the plurality of ligands. The nitrogen atom includes an aromatic ring group as a substituent. The aromatic ring group is not bonded to any of the plurality of ligands to form a ring, thereby allowing the organic electroluminescent device to exhibit a low drive voltage and improved life time.
