Abstract:
An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes a first substrate, a display unit that defines an active area on the first substrate, a second substrate on the display unit, a circuit pattern on outer sides of the active area on the first substrate, a sealant between the first substrate and the second substrate, the sealant adhering the first substrate to the second substrate and overlapping at least a part of the circuit pattern, and a detecting unit that overlaps the at least a part of the circuit pattern and detects whether the circuit pattern is damaged.
Abstract:
An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the OLED display includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a display unit formed between the first and second substrates and a sealant formed between the first and second substrates and bonding the first and second substrates. The sealant includes a sealing portion surrounding and sealing the display unit, the sealing portion having a plurality of first openings separate from each other along a circumferential direction of the display unit. The sealant also includes an adhesion reinforcing portion including a plurality of islands that are respectively formed inside the first openings and separate from the sealing portion.
Abstract:
An organic light-emitting display apparatus including a first substrate including a display area and a peripheral area; a second substrate opposing the first substrate; an insulating layer disposed on the first substrate and including one or more openings; and a sealing member interconnecting the first substrate and the second substrate to each other and interposed between the first and second substrates. The one or more openings are disposed between a first conductive layer disposed on the display area and a second conductive layer disposed on the peripheral area. The one or more openings are at least partially or entirely filled with the sealing member.
Abstract:
A display apparatus comprises a substrate, an encapsulation panel opposing the substrate, a display unit disposed between the substrate and the encapsulation panel and a seal portion bonding the substrate and the encapsulation panel and surrounding the display unit. The seal portion comprises a first surface facing the substrate and a second surface facing the encapsulation panel. The seal portion has a first thickness that is a distance between the first surface and the second surface measured at a first point and a second thickness that is a distance between the first surface and the second surface measured at a second point. A first virtual line passing a center point of the display area and the first point is substantially perpendicular to a second virtual line passing the center point and the second point. The first thickness is substantially different from the second thickness.
Abstract:
A display apparatus includes a first substrate; a display device including a display portion and located on the first substrate; a second substrate located above the display device; a sealing portion between the first substrate and the second substrate, and surrounding the display portion, the sealing portion bonding the first substrate and the second substrate; a circuit portion located between the sealing portion and the display portion; and one or more supplement members located between the circuit portion and the sealing portion so as to absorb an external shock delivered to the sealing portion.
