    Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate including a light emitting area and non-light emitting area, a light emitting element including a light emitting layer disposed in the light emitting area on the substrate, an encapsulation layer disposed on the light emitting layer, a transparent layer defining a plurality of first openings and a plurality of second openings and disposed on the encapsulation layer, a plurality of light blocking pattern disposed on the encapsulation and filling each of the first openings, a first transparent pattern disposed on the encapsulation layer and filling each of the second openings and the second transparent pattern having a different refractive index from that of the first transparent pattern and disposed on the first transparent pattern.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a display device layer including first to third light emitting areas and a non-tight emitting area and a light shielding member disposed on the display device laver. The light shielding member overlaps the non-light emitting area and includes light shielding openings corresponding to the first to third light emitting areas. A first portion of the light shielding member disposed between the first light emitting area and the second light emitting area has a first thickness at a first edge adjacent to the first light emitting area and a second thickness that is different from the first thickness at a second edge adjacent to the second light emitting area. A second portion of the light shielding member is disposed between the first light emitting area and the third light emitting area and has a uniform thickness.
