Abstract: An electronic device, includes: a sensor layer detecting a touch input and an input-device input; and a sensor control circuit providing the sensor layer with a signal and receiving a detection signal from the sensor layer, wherein the sensor layer includes: a first electrode extending along a first direction; a second electrode extending along the first direction; a first cross electrode extending along a second direction intersecting the first direction; and a second cross electrode extending along the second direction, wherein the sensor control circuit detects the touch input based on a variation in mutual capacitance between the first electrode and the first cross electrode, and the sensor control circuit detects the input-device input based on a variation in capacitance of at least one selected from the first electrode, the second electrode, the first cross electrode, and the second cross electrode.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an input sensor that senses an input from an outside source to obtain a sensing coordinate. The input sensor has a plurality of sensing units defined therein. A memory stores a first modeling data obtained from first and second sensing units and a second modeling data obtained from first and third sensing units. A controller corrects the sensing coordinate to obtain a calculated coordinate. The controller comprises a first reference point moving unit that converts the sensing coordinate into a first middle coordinate based on a coordinate system having a plurality of coordinate units. A coordinate correction unit obtains a second middle coordinate by correcting the first middle coordinate based on the first and second modeling data. A second reference point moving unit obtains the calculated coordinate based on the second middle coordinate.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, an input sensor, and a control unit. The display panel includes a light blocking layer that includes an opening. The input sensor includes a first sensing element, a second sensing element, and a third sensing element. The control unit calculates a first distance between the first sensing element and the second sensing element when the display panel is in a first state and the second sensing element overlaps the opening, calculates a second distance between the first sensing element and a third sensing element when the display device is in a second state that differs from that of the first state and the third sensing element overlaps the opening, and corrects an image obtained from the input sensor on the basis of the first distance and the second distance.
